What RC Members need to know:
You must be a current member of an affiliated BRC Riding Club
You can only compete as a member of one club
You can sign up for any or all four event series by emailing :
Scottishrcchampionships@gmail.com, clicking the link on the website SRCES.co.uk
or completing the registration form at the Finals
You must provide the following details
o Your name
o Riding club
o Membership number
o Horses name
o Which series and which class or classes
Once your RC membership has been verified, you will receive via email a google link which you complete from your placings at competitions, the placings will be verified and your points added to the score sheet
2026 Registration will close on 30th June 2026 – no registrations will be accepted after this date
2025/2026 Series starts from 13th /14th September 25, where points may be gained in any open classes at the SRCES Finals and final submissions of points will be on 1st September 2026
Points will be awarded to Horse & Rider Combinations gaining places at any unaffiliated events
RC Members must enter events via the organising events chosen system.
Scottish RC Events Series do not run or organise any of the events, they just collate the points and run the series final.
Eventing -classes will be: 60 cm, 70 cm, 80 cm, 90 cm and 100 cm
o Points may be gained at ODE & HT competitions. Combinations must have completed a minimum of two One Day Events across the series
o Riders may opt to register for two levels, a level must be nominated for points before the final, should a member step up or down a level during the series any points gained at the lower or higher level will be forfeited
o Eligibility
60 cm – Combinations not to have competed at 80 cm or above
70 cm and 80 cm – Combinations not to have competed at 90 cm in previous year
80 cm – combinations not to have competed at 1m
90 cm & 1 m – Open
Arena Event
o Classes will be 60cms, 70cms, 80cms, 90cms & 100cms and combinations may compete in only 2 consecutive classes.
o Eligibility
60 cm – combinations not to have competed at 80 cm
70 cm – combinations not to have competed at 90 cm
80 cm – combinations not to have competed at 1 m
90 cm & 1 m open
o Riders may opt to register for two levels, however, should a member step up or down a level during the series any points gained at the lower or higher level will be forfeited.
Dressage to Music & Dressage
o Dressage to Music: Classes will be Prelim, Novice, Elementary & Pick a Test (Med/Adv Med)
o Dressage : classes Intro, Prelim, Novice, Elementary & PYO ( Med/Adv/Med)
o Eligibility
Intro – Combinations must not have competed at Novice or above
Prelim – Combinations must not have competed at Elementary or above
Novice – Combinations must not have competed at Medium or above
Elementary & Above – Open
Final Points for the series final classes will be added to the scores and the top 3 point places in each series will receive prizes
Any Horse and rider combination placed within the top 3 points series in 2 consecutive years with more than 6 competitors must move up to the next height/level
All Final Competitions are Stand Alone Competitions

Eventing Double Clears (XC & jumping Clear not including time faults) – 50 points
Double clear points are awarded regardless of any placing.
