BRC Area 1 Winter Intermediate Dressage and DTM

British Riding Clubs Area 1 Winter Intermediate Dressage and DTM Qualifiers at SNEC on Sunday 1st December 2024 hosted by Scottish Dressage Group.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE DAY

OFFICE open from 8.30 am.

Equine passports, plus any hats to be checked, should be brought to the office before competing and back numbers (which must be worn) should be collected.

Summer Dressage, Show Jumping and Combined Training – Saturday  12th July 2025 at Morris EC.

PLEASE NOTE:  Area 1 Summer Qualifiers for Dressage, Show Jumping and Combined Training are NOW ALL running on SATURDAY 12th JULY 2025.

  • Intro, Prelim, Novice, Elementary, Medium, Advanced Medium and Pairs.

           SCHEDULE:  Area 1 Dressage and Combined Training Schedule – 12th July 2025

    • 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 and 105 cm   – NOW ON SATURDAY 12th JULY 2025.

Combined Challenge – at Ivesley EC on 17th August 2025 by invitation of Area 2.

 

Winter Dressage – Grassroots, Intermediate and Open – Sunday 12th October at Morris EC

BRC Area 1 Club Volunteer of the Year

Nominations are open for BRC Area 1 Club Volunteer of the Year. The trophy will be presented to the winner at the Area 1 AGM on Sunday 12th January 2025 at The BHS Scotland Hub, Stirling, FK9 4RN.

Clubs affiliated to BRC Area 1 in 2024 may nominate a volunteer who has gone above and beyond for their Riding Club.

Please complete and submit this form giving details about why you are nominating the volunteer and what they have done for your Club by Monday 23rd December 2024.

Nominations should be submitted by an office bearer or committee member, on behalf of their Club.

BRC Area 1 Representative

Following on from the area 1 representative nominations that were held over the past week, two nominations were received by HQ. This means that a vote must now take place within Area 1.

Each Area 1 member who is over 18 is eligible to cast one vote.

I would encourage you to read through the attached biographies for both nominated candidates which should help with your decision.

The Area 1 Rep’s role description is posted below, along with the bio’s for both nominated candidates.

BRC Area 1 Representative Election

Information from BRC HQ.

The role of the area representative is held for a 3-year term. The term will be coming to an end at the end of this year and as such, an election will be held, if more than one nomination received.

Your current area representative is Margaret Bunnett. Margaret can be nominated again to stand for another 3-year term if she is happy to be.

I have attached the Area Representative role description.

All nominations can be made via the below link. Please note, if two or more people are nominated, a vote will be held within the area.
